Dressing Up Plain Alfredo

Usually when you're on a budget, pasta is to go-to dish. Alfredo is our favorite but sometimes it's just not up to par with the delicious Chicken Alfredo we get from our favorite Italian restaurants. But in order to save money, it's time to dress it up!

The secret? Pre-marinated chicken breasts from your butcher/deli/grocery store! There's something about freshly cooked chicken sitting atop a pile of pasta and sauce that sounds better than refridgerated or frozen chicken or meatballs. I like the Italian marinated whereas Chhally prefers the Lemon Pepper.

Secondly, steam up some broccoli! After steaming, liberally season with salt and pepper and mix it in.

Last, top it off with some freshly grated cheese and enjoy!
